Biography
Marion Francis Blythe graduated from Gibsonville High School.
During WWII, he rose to the rank of sergeant, and served as part of the 504th Squadron which had the primary mission of conducting strategic bombing operations against Japan in the Central Pacifica Theater.
After the war, Marion served a full career with Kayser-Roth in Alamance, retiring as Plant Manager. He was a Life Deacon of the First Baptist Church of Burlington.
He passed away in 2013 at the age of 93.
