Biography
Grady Martin Burchett was born on 17 March 1923.
Pvt Grady M Burchett enlisted at Fort Bragg, North Carolina on 23 May 1944. He was formerly employed at Western Auto Supply company as shipping clerk and went overseas in October 1944. He was attached to 4th Infantry Division, 8th Infantry Regiment.
On December 24, 1944, at age 20, he was killed in action in France.
Grady is buried or memorialized at Plot F Row 10 Grave 8, Netherlands American Cemetery, Margraten, Netherlands. This is an American Battle Monuments Commission location.
