With your support, we will:

After suffering storm damage, we are launching an urgent campaign to not only restore what was lost, but to enhance the memorial by going beyond what we imaged was possible in that small sacred space.

We are moving beyond the 20th century to honor veterans serving today and in the future. Meaningful new features include more space to add memorial bricks, new flag poles, a bronze battle cross sculpture, and the installation of a UH-1A "Huey" helicopter display.

Together, we can go beyond. Let's improve and preserve this sacred space for generations to come.

  • Go beyond how we represent our nation and branches of the armed forces by installing seven highly-visible flagpoles
  • Go beyond reading about history by installing a UH-1A "Huey" helicopter
  • Go beyond the current landscaping by arranging the space to create additional space for more engraved bricks
  • Go beyond the confines of the grounds to honor veterans through detailed online digital memorials
  • Go beyond static displays by installing interactive panels
  • Go beyond the current appearance and functionality of the grounds, making the site more engaging and attractive

What remains unchanged:

  • Our commitment to keep the Memorial a place to reflect, honor and give thanks
  • The 1,200 + personalized bricks will still be displayed on the grounds and catalogued on-line (with the option to add information and photos about the veteran)
  • The site remains governed by patriotic volunteers
  • Maintenance of the grounds is funded through donations and the purchase of bricks
  • The monument and rotunda preserve the vision of the founding contributors
